چکیده
Modern Grid systems use web services to interact with remote and distributed subsystem components to achieve an effective and common connection. Next generation Grid solutions will include instruments and sensors as part of the Grid, in addition to computational units (CE) and disk storage (SE). The Instrument Element (IE) is a new component that provides access to these remotely distributed pieces of hardware. The IE can organize generic devices in a “Grid of Instruments”, providing a set of facilities to allow interaction between sensors and the existing classical grid infrastructure. In this paper, we describe the architecture of an Instrument Element system and present a collection of applications that successfully integrate and utilize this framework. Design, Experiments and Simulation of Voltage Transformers on the Basis of a Differential Input D-dot Sensor
Currently available traditional electromagnetic voltage sensors fail to meet the measurement requirements of the smart grid, because of low accuracy in the static and dynamic ranges and the occurrence of ferromagnetic resonance attributed to overvoltage and output short circuit. This work develops a new non-contact high-bandwidth voltage measurement system for power equipment. This system aims ...
متن کاملIoT Based Load Management of a Micro-Grid Using Arduino and HMAS
This paper aims to establish an Arduino and IoT-based Hierarchical Multi-Agent System (HMAS) for management of loads’ side with incentive approach in a micro-grid. In this study, the performance of the proposed algorithm in a micro-grid has been verified. The micro-grid contains a battery energy storage system (BESS) and different types of loads known as residential consumer (RC), commercial co...
متن کاملTarget Tracking Based on Virtual Grid in Wireless Sensor Networks
One of the most important and typical application of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is target tracking. Although target tracking, can provide benefits for large-scale WSNs and organize them into clusters but tracking a moving target in cluster-based WSNs suffers a boundary problem. The main goal of this paper was to introduce an efficient and novel mobility management protocol namely Target Tr...
متن کاملConstructing dependable certainty grids from unreliable sensor data
Measurements from sensors as they are used for robotic grid map applications typically show behavior like degradation or discalibration over time, which affects the quality of the generated maps. This paper presents two novel algorithms for the generation of certainty grids dealing with this behavior. The first algorithm named Fault-Tolerant Certainty Grid (FTCG) performs voting over multiple s...
